Pretty cute, right?

What can I use digital printing for?

There’s a lots of ways digital printing can make your gift or business packaging stand out from the crowd - here are just a few examples:

For personal use

Gift wrapping: Use digital printing to make your gifts more personal for your pal on their birthday. Magnetic hamper boxes or gift bags, for example, printed with fun designs can be used year after year (that’s what I do!) - just add a bit of tissue paper and a tag and you'll be good to go!

Favour packaging: Events like weddings and baby showers are personal occasions, so reflect that with gifts and packaging that have an equally personal message or design. This could be a thank you to your guests for coming to your big day, a cute pic of your new baby and their name, or whatever suits the event!

For business use

Retail carrier bags: Lots of stores have logos printed on their carrier bags now, right? Using them in your shop will make you even more memorable for customers when they head home, so they'll be more likely to shop with you again! You can even have your logo digitally printed on corrugated mailing boxes, perfect for businesses who’d like to post their products to customers while keeping their brand front and centre.

Corporate gifting: Want to make your corporate gift even more memorable? Present it in a branded box or bag! Add your logo/design to add that element of luxury, with different sizes available to suit whatever products you’re packaging. Don’t want to go all out of a box or bag? Get a printed note card or sticker instead!

These are just examples of course - use digitally printed packaging for whatever you like!

Okay, but how does digital printing actually work?

We use CMYK at Tiny Box Company for our digital printing. This means you just need to let us know the colours you’d like printed by providing us with references, and we’ll match them as closely as possible. Samples are also available at a charge, and we’d advise getting some if you’d like to check the colours!

How do I upload artwork?

Vector images allow for flexibility - these file types, including EPS, AI and PDF, are constructed using mathematical formulas and are excellent for creating graphics that need to be resized. Logos and brand graphics should be created as a vector so they can be used with smaller items like business cards, but they can also be used on large-scale exhibitions/banners.

Raster images use coloured pixels to form a complete image and must be supplied at 300 DPI at precisely the dimensions needed to eliminate any loss of image or pixelation. Almost all photos found online and in print catalogues are raster images, with common image types including JPEGs, GIFs and PNGs.

And how eco-friendly is digital printing?

Very! The ink is such a small element that it has no detrimental effect on the environment. How great is that? That means if you have a product that was recyclable before it was printed, you can rest assured it’ll be recyclable after, too.

Full colour, full potential

Whether you're a small business owner or someone who just someone who loves gift giving, digital printing is your go-to for adding personality, professionalism, and fun to your packaging.

It's vibrant, versatile, and totally eco-friendly - what’s not to love?
