Recycled ribbon
We have two main ranges of ribbons that utilise recycled waste in their production, minimising the need to produce virgin materials and creating a smaller waste cycle.
Made from recycled plastic bottles
As you might expect, our recycled bottle ribbon is made from recycled PET plastic bottles rescued from sea waste. Bottles are collected from several collection points throughout China before being sorted, washed, and ground into flakes, melted into a liquid form then extruded into usable material before being woven into lengths of ribbon.
This inherently makes them more eco-friendly than traditional ribbons as fewer raw resources are required, and the number of plastic bottles being removed from the sea helps protect marine wildlife, as well as helps prevent microplastics from finding their way into the global food and water supply.
Tencel Ribbons
Tencel is an innovative material that combines recycled clothing with wood pulp to create a 100% compostable, sustainably sourced, quality product. Cotton fibres are gathered from discarded fabrics and clothing, minced with wood fibres from Spruce and Eucalyptus trees and passed through Tencel's signature closed-loop manufacturing process.
Branding your ribbon
Banding is available on our whole range of ribbons so that you can show off your brand and its values with ease. Perfect for securing tags, creating bows or holding lids on boxes. All you need to do is browse for and select the ribbon or ribbons you would like to use as a base colour then get in touch with our customer service and sales team who will support you through the process.
We're able to guide you in all aspects of branding your packaging, from selecting a number of stock options to customising the placement of your logo on the ribbon itself as well as how particular colour foils pair with certain colour ribbons.
